EatSmart Precision Premium Digital Bathroom Scale with 3.5″ LCD and “Step-On” Technology

The people reviewing this product are bogus. All the reviews are in a very short period of time and the reviewers have reviewed nothing but this product…it is not even available…I would like to see Amazon remove all the bogus reviews of this product before someone relies on the supposed good reviews. There were so many great reviews that I got this scale. Now that I’ve used it, it just is not accurate.. I’m sending it back. It honestly doesn’t come anywhere near its list price of $59.99. And I feel I overpaid and got ripped off at the amazon price. It comes off being rather cheap side than quality, sure $38 isn’t that much, but I don’t feel I got what I paid for.

Nonetheless I would have still kept it if it worked good. Out of 20-30 tests or so. It only zoned in on my weight and blinked, two times!.. the normal for this scale is to jump around between 1 pound (sometimes 2) or so then it just shuts off on me after 10 seconds from the time i got on. So it makes it very annoying to use. I have a feeling like mine is not flawed, but who knows maybe so. I would stay away from this scale/company as it just does not hold up to it’s price. Check out something else in the price range.Don’t believe the ratings. I right out of the box I was getting different weights that changed up to 10 lbs. I tried following the instructions to calibrate it but that did not seem to help. The scale really is bad. At least Amazon was really great refunding my money. I hope they drop this product in the future.I should have known, what with all the hoopla of all the positive reviews, combined with the very low price. I should have known this scale was too good to be true. But I went ahead and ordered one anyway, in the hopes that it really was what it was represented to be.

However, upon my first weighing, I was sorely disappointed. I weighed myself four times in quick succession and received four different weights, varying by four or five pounds even.

This scale is going back ASAP, and I will spend the extra money necessary to purchase a quality product.I can only think of one extra feature that would make this scale better. Namely, a slightly more sticky set of feet would make it less prone to movement on slippery surfaces such as tile floors. read more.

Health o meter 844KL High Capacity Digital Bathroom Weight Scale with 1.5 in. LCD, 440 lb x 0.1 lb

This scale only lasted 3 months. After 3 months it started giving incorrect readings that would vary as much as 50 lbs from one moment to the next. This scale is excellent for those who are unable to use the scales found in most stores. My husband finally knows what he weighs and he’s working on losing the pounds. It was fast order and we reseved it in no time. The info was full and right .This scale is easy to operate and can be read clearly from 6 feet away. Set up was quick and simple!Health O Meter continually lives up to it’s reputation of high quality and accuracy. Years ago I owned a conventional Health o Meter scale, like the kind you’d find as a kid in the doctor’s office with clunky weights and balances. I knew of and already trusted the brand. So it is no suprise that I am well pleased with 844KL digital model. Very easy to use, light weight and slim for easy storage and comes with the battery preinstalled so it can be used straight out of the box!

The display screen is large and clear and very easy to read. If you have need of a high capacity bathroom scale with accurate results, you simply can’t go wrong with this one and the price is right for one of such high quality. read more.

Taylor 7331 Lithium Scale

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I bought this scale less than a month ago and am totally ready to pitch it this morning. I thought I was going to love this simple scale. I do love its big display and the fact that it measures in .2 lb increments. However, it simply doesn’t work right. It gets itself stuck on a reading and says that over and over for days until I got suspicious and pulled out my old Tanita scale to verify the Taylor. (I had the Tanita in a charity box to give away. I won’t now.) The Taylor scale was very wrong in its reading. For over a week now, I have been using two scales each morning and trying to get a proper reading from the Taylor but it won’t stablilze. This morning at first it weighed me at .8 lbs over the Tanita. Then after moving it around and resetting it a few times, it is weighing me at 1 whole lb UNDER the Tanita. How screwy is that? And for a dieter, it’s a disaster. Although I like the Taylor scale’s features better, what really counts is the accuracy. So I guess the Taylor is headed for the charity box and the old Tanita will be back in the bedroom.Would be fine except that one of the footpads was peeling back upon delivery so I’m sure it will only get worse. This scale has worked well in the several months that we have had it. However, it badly needs a means of adjusting the observed weight of the user, so that the user can bring his/her weight into conformity with the weight measured in a physician’s office. It is my impression that this scale give an errroneously high weight of about5-7 pounds. This is the best scale I have ever owned. A basic looking highly accurate and functional scale. This scale is easy to read and always reads the same number if you move it around. It is a little wider then I expected. read more.
